A Walk in the Woods in Autumn

Here's a couple pictures from a walk I went on Saturday.  The leaves were starting to turn on the trees, it was a perfect Fall day, sunny and crisp.

Those red berries looked delicious, but I doubt they're edible.  At least, I didn't sample them to find out.

Hope you get a chance to take some walks in the forest this Autumn too, and enjoy the beauties of God's creation.  :)

Very nice! I love the golds and reds that are coming out stronger now. And the berries look scrumptious. I heard that you know whether to eat them or not by watching the birds. If they're eating them, they're good. I don't know if that's true or not though. At any rate, they're pretty to look at! :-)

Hi Poetess,
I'd never heard that about the birds. Interesting idea, maybe that's how the Indians figured out which berries are good to eat.
So glad you liked the pictures, thanks very much. :)

Hi Holly,
Thanks so much!
I just paid a visit to your blog Hollyrocks, very nice! Great photos on your craft fair setup, and how they've evolved over the last few years.

Beautiful! I also walked last weekend through some gorgeous woods. But alas, the winds have whipped through our area since then and we are now bereft of most of the color! Fall never lasts long enough...
